The Technical Secretariat for Electoral Administration (STAE) has made available an electronic platform, which voters can access, to consult information on polling stations.

Quoted by Rádio Moçambique, STAE spokeswoman Regina Matsinhe explained that through the platform, voters can also locate polling stations.

"With this platform, the electoral management bodies want to eliminate the constraints usually experienced in locating polling stations," he said, stressing that "the platform also allows voters who have lost their cards to identify their Polling Station".

Meanwhile, STAE says that the process of training the polling station staff who will be involved in the October 11 elections is running smoothly.

The director of Training and Civic Education, Helena Garrine, said on Saturday that more than 52,000 agents are being trained to staff around 6,000 polling stations in 65 municipalities.
