The Democratic Movement of Mozambique (MDM) remains in first place on the ballot paper for the local elections. Renamo rose to second place and Frelimo fell to third.
According to the draw, MDM remains in first place, followed by Renamo, which was in third place after Frelimo in the previous draw.
This Saturday, the CNE held the second draw for the parties' positions on the electoral roll, after the first was annulled on Wednesday by the Constitutional Council.
And in this way, yet another decision of the Constitutional Council was complied with.
More than 8.7 million voters are registered to vote in the sixth local elections, below the initial projection of 9.8 million, according to CNE data.
Voters will choose 65 new mayors, including in 12 new municipalities, in addition to the 53 that already exist.
