The government, through the Ministry of Health (MISAU), will make a statement within the next 24 hours on the doctors' strike that began on Monday.
The information was provided by the spokesperson for the Council of Ministers, Filimão Suázi, at the end of the ordinary session of the Council of Ministers, held this Tuesday in Maputo.
"Within 24 hours there will be a full statement reflecting the government's vision on this matter, through the health sector," said Filimão Suázi.
At the same session, the Council of Ministers approved, among other matters, the resolution creating the commission to reflect on the decentralized governance model in the country.
The commission, which has a two-year mandate, includes representatives from the government, political parties, civil society organizations and religious denominations.
