The national soccer team, the Mambas, take on their Angolan counterparts, the Palancas Negras, this Friday (07) at 6pm, in the first round of group C of the Cosafa tournament.
The event, which runs until July 16 in Durban, kicked off last Wednesday with hosts South Africa drawing 1-1 with Namibia, according to RM.
In another Group A match, Botswana defeated Eswatini, by one ball without reply.
On Friday, in addition to the clash between Mambas and Palancas Negras at 6pm, there will also be a match between Lesotho and Mauritius at 3pm.
Both meetings are in group C.
For this tournament, the technical team has called up 23 players with a single objective: to win the three group games against Angola, Lesotho and Mauritius, win the semi-finals and the final to bring the cup back to the Mozambicans and perhaps make history.
It's worth remembering that Mozambique has already been a finalist on three occasions, and this time it wants to make history by winning the race for the first time.
