Apple has crossed the $3 billion threshold

Apple has become the first publicly traded company to reach a valuation of 3 billion dollars. This figure was reached on Friday, June 30, when shares in the Cupertino technology company rose by 2.31%, according to a specialist news website.

The US multinational already reached this valuation of 3 billion dollars in January 2022, but at the time the company failed to remain at this level until the market closed.

As TechCrunch reports, the value of Apple shares has risen by 46% this year.

The source also says that Apple reached this level shortly after presenting the Vision Pro, the company's virtual and augmented reality glasses with which the technology company intends to enter a new market segment. The Vision Pro is scheduled to be launched in early 2024.
