The plan includes the construction of eight passenger embarkation and disembarkation lines, a shopping center, a hotel, a restaurant, conference rooms, a new company headquarters, a parking lot and more.

The project, which includes the redevelopment of 25 de Setembro and Alberto Lithuli avenues, is being carried out in close coordination with the city council.

The information was provided during the visit to the station by the new Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors, Alberto Langa Jr. who, quoted by the NewsHe called for the quality of the work to be monitored. In order to avoid accidents such as derailments, workers will be classified by sector.

"When a derailment happens, we should know which sector failed. The idea is to reward those who do their job well," he said.
