Attempts to attack the village of Nova Zambézia, the administrative post of Chai in Macomia, were reported last Saturday night (20), including the region of Nkoe, which is eight kilometers away. The terrorists received a prompt response from the Local Forces operating in that district.

Sources in Macomia told Carta that intense gunfire was heard in Nkoe on Saturday night, but there are no details about what happened. However, it is known that the area was recently patrolled by the Defense and Security Forces.
