Mozambique leaves the chairmanship of the African Correctional Services Association today

Moçambique deixa hoje a presidência da Associação dos Serviços Correccionais Africanos

Today, Friday, Mozambique will hand over the presidency of the African Correctional Services Association (ACSA). The act will take place during the closing ceremony of the association's meeting, which has been taking place since Monday in Dakar, Senegal.

The event, which brings together more than 400 participants, aims to reflect on and propose solutions for improving conditions in African prisons.

Mozambique has chaired ACSA since 2017 and was re-elected in 2019 in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
