On Sunday night, Renamo and MDM inspectors discovered two more clandestine electoral registration offices set up in houses in Moatize, Tete, and Maganja da Costa, Zambezia.
The brigadistas explained that they were registering at the community leader's house because of the distance between the school where the registration office is located and the place where they keep the equipment
In Maganja da Costa, the census office was located in an abandoned house in the Muanhula neighborhood, the seat of the town of Maganja da Costa, in Zambezia province.
When questioned, the brigadiers involved replied that they were registering on the instructions of the electoral authorities, which led to confusion. Allied to the same case was a citizen from the district of Mocubela, outside the municipal area,
is at loggerheads with the PRM, allegedly because he was going to register in the district of Maganja da Costa, together with his colleagues who had been on the run until then. He did not agree to give the location of his colleagues or reveal who had sent them. He opted for silence.
Renamo's political delegate and provincial representative will go to Maganja da Costa tomorrow to find out the facts. The Renamo inspectors who gave the information yesterday, Sunday, are afraid to give any more details on Monday. The Renamo delegate knows that these cases are also happening in other districts.
