The US company Tesla rose two places and overtook Mercedes-Benz and Toyota to become the world's most valuable brand in Brand Finance's annual ranking, representing a growth of 44% compared to 2022.

Mercedes-Benz is assigned a value of 58.8 billion dollars, and in third place now comes Toyota, previously in second place, with an overall valuation of 52.5 billion dollars.
According to the publication, Tesla is the first company that doesn't produce combustion engines to top this list, and is also considered the brand with the highest perceived sustainability value, one of the parameters assessed in the study. Tesla's brand value grew five times compared to its valuation before the pandemic.
Ferrari, meanwhile, despite having lost absolute value, remains the strongest car brand, with a rating of AAA+ in the Brand Strength Index, which is also included in this report.
The Chinese car brand Sokon, founded in 1986, is the fastest growing, with an increase in value of 123% compared to 2022, reaching 739 million dollars. The brand recorded a good business performance in 2022, selling 21% more vehicles.
In the area of components for the automotive industry, Japan's Denso stands out as the most valuable, Aptive is the fastest growing and Valeo is the strongest. As for tire brands, the highlight goes to Michelin, which in addition to being the most valuable is also the strongest brand and the one with the highest perception of sustainability. In mobility, Uber wins as the most valuable brand and also takes the prize for the highest perception of sustainability.
