Newborn Esmeralda, the daughter of Man Gena and Mami, died last night at Maputo Central Hospital, Angolan couple who fled their country after having denounced the involvement of police and politicians in drug trafficking.

The announcement was made by the mother herself, Clemência Suzete Vumi or Mami as it is known, via social media, through a video in which she tearfully talks about her loss. In this video, she makes several accusations, including that the doctors tried to take her life during childbirth.

According to Mami, the doctors informed her that the baby had lost her life after having two cardiac arrests.

According to several sources consulted by MZNews, Mami is unhappy with the situation. It is also said that Mami has been heavily escorted by the police to visit her daughter Esmeralda and that she made a big fuss this morning, complaining and crying about her loss.

They also mention that Mami was accompanied by her husband, Gelson Emanuel Quintas or Man GenaShe was screaming that she had been separated from her daughter because they knew what they wanted to do with her and that every time she went to visit Esmeralda, she was told that the baby was in good health.
