The Mozambican government guarantees that it has concrete solutions to end the electricity crisis in neighboring South Africa.
The assurance was given this Tuesday in Pretoria by Mozambique's High Commissioner in South Africa, Maria Manuela Lucas, after the presentation of the letters of credence to the South African president, Cyril Ramaphossa.
According to RM, the Mozambican diplomat pointed to the Mphanda Nkuwa and Temane gas projects and the revision of the agreements surrounding the Cahora Bassa dam, as ways to get around the electricity crisis in the Rand.
Maria Manuela Lucas was appointed Mozambique's High Commissioner to South Africa in October last year, replacing Paulino Macarringue.
