The Council of State Representation Services of Maputo City (CSRECM) is today launching a multisectoral plan to prevent road accidents, reports Notícias online.

Called "Stop road accidents in Maputo city", the initiative aims to respond to the large movement of people during this festive season, which can lead to road accidents.

The launch of the plan will be preceded by a visit to the Junta's Interprovincial Road Transport Terminal, where the Secretary of State, Vicente Joaquim, will find out about the state of compliance with the passenger safety protocol and raise awareness among transport operators to drive more cautiously.
