Civil society organizations seek strategies to better implement grievance mechanisms, in the public sector.
To this end, a seminar was held this Thursday in Maputo city to share experiences and reflect on the contribution of citizens in improving public services.
The meeting was promoted by the "POTENCIAR" Program, an initiative funded by the British High Commission, which aims to improve the participation of citizens in the management of public services.
The Director of the "POTENCIAR" Program, José Dias, said that the reporting mechanisms are little known in the country, which makes it difficult for citizens to get involved in the management of the public treasury.
José Dias, cited by Radio Mozambique, said that the reflection meeting also aimed to contribute to the improvement of maternal and child health services.
The one-day seminar was held under the motto "Creating synergies between citizens and the state to contribute to improved service delivery."
