Mozambique is hosting, this Monday, the meeting of the IV Working Group of the PALOP and East Timor Budget Commissions, under the theme "Budgetary Legislative Oversight and Sovereign Wealth Funds", says a statement of the Assembly of the Republic (AR) quoted by "Notícias".

The three-day event takes place within the scope of the program for the consolidation of economic governance and public finance management systems in the PALOP and Timor-Leste, financed by the European Union and managed by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

The RA document points to the interventions of the UNDP resident representative in Mozambique, Narjess Saidane and the Political Advisor of the Delegation of the European Union in Mozambique, Stefan Simosas, technical staff, national and international individuals.

The meeting will be facilitated by experts from the Pro PALOP-TL ISC program and will be attended in person and virtually by internationally recognized experts and academics in the areas of legislative budget oversight and economic governance.
