The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Verónica Macamo reaffirms the government's commitment to eradicate premature unions and protect children's rights in order to ensure the social development of the country.
The governor was speaking, yesterday, in Maputo, on the sidelines of the meeting she held with thirteen girls, who participate in the EU AMANHÃ program, promoted by the non-governmental organization Plan International.
"It is important that children know that no premature union brings happiness, much less solves the problems of poverty of the parents or the child itself," she said quoted by RM.
What it solves, adds the governor, "is the creation of opportunities for children to have the chance to study, to graduate, to overcome themselves, to face life's challenges, and to contribute to national development, towards the well-being, children, women, young people, and men of our country, when they are adults.
