The Minister of Transport and Communications, Mateus Magala, calls on companies operating in the Beira Corridor to work in an integrated and coordinated manner to maximize business volume.
According to the governor, it is necessary to explore more and more the existing potentialities in this corridor and in the regional market.
Mateus Magala was speaking this Thursday during a visit to the Port of Beira, in Sofala, an infrastructure that, he explained, quoted by Radio Mozambique, plays an important role in the national economy and the interland countries.
The deputy executive director of Cornelder de Moçambique, the company that manages the Port of Beira, António Libombo, indicated that the infrastructure receives more than six hundred trucks of goods daily, twice as many as a few years ago.
This Friday, the second day of his visit to Sofala, the Minister of Transport and Communications will learn about TMcel's modernization program and visit the Beira International Airport.
