The Road Fund in Niassa province owes the contractors 118 million meticals, referring to the maintenance of the access roads in that province, a fact that has been conditioning the execution of the works.
According to Rádio Moçambique, quoting the delegate of the Niassa Road Fund, Iva Langa, this is a debt related to the maintenance of provincial, district and urban roads, carried over from last year to July of this year.
The source says, however, that there is work being done with the Road Fund, at a central level, to settle the debt.
