The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi says it is not true that the terrorist actions occurring in Cabo Delgado are the result of religious conflicts.
The President of the Republic, who was speaking this Thursday in Maputo at a meeting with representatives of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, said that among the terrorists, there are people of different religions and backgrounds
Quoted by Radio Mozambique, Filipe Nyusi recalled that Mozambique is a secular state and looks to religion as a partner in actions aimed at development.
At this meeting, the Church announced that it has intentions to build a temple in the city of Beira, in Sofala.
