At the press conference to take stock of his four-day visit to Botswana, the Mozambican Head of State highlighted the agreements signed in the areas of agriculture, oil and gas, energy, mineral resources, defense and security.
"We concluded agreements, for example, in the area of cooperation, but we also had geology and mining agreements, procedures of the joint commission that we later want to transform into the biennial commission, where heads of state already participate. Now this is at the level of the ministers. But our business people have also entered into agreements. Petromoc for example is going to sell fuel to this country. This is a gain for us. Also electricity, Botswana will buy energy in Mozambique", he told the media.
Besides having witnessed the signing of several agreements and participated in the Mozambique-Botswana Business Forum, the President of the Republic attended the inauguration of the Samora Machel Museum in Lobatsi and met with the Mozambican community living in Botswana.
