Portuguese Cooperation is going to make available, as of this month's fortnight, about eight million meticais, an amount intended to help in conservation initiatives on Mozambique Island, which was recently devastated by Tropical Cyclone Gombe.
The information was advanced yesterday, in Mozambique Island, by the Ambassador of Portugal in Mozambique, António Costa Moura, who is in that region of the country, on a work visit.
The beneficiaries will be known as of April thirteenth this year, and additional support for the recovery of affected infrastructure in Mozambique Island is also expected.
The initiative is part of the third phase of the cluster of Portuguese Cooperation in Mozambique Island for the biennium 2022 - 2026.
