CIP launches the Transparency Index of Companies in the Extractive Sector

The Center for Public Integrity (CIP) will tomorrow launch the second edition of the Extractive Sector Transparency Index (ITSE) in Mozambique.

The objective is to contribute to making information about the extractive sector in Mozambique available to society in a detailed, simple, timely manner and on a project-by-project basis.

According to the CIP statement to which MZNews had access, the survey covered the years 2020 and 2021 and took into account the fiscal, governance, social and environmental categories. The event will take place at Hotel Cardoso, Maputo city, at 8:30 am.
