The game 'Marvel's Midnight Suns' that was supposed to be released in March 2022 will now not arrive until the second half of next year, according to a post on the game's Twitter feed.
Midnight Suns is a game that Marvel fans have been longing for. As a result, Firaxis Games - the game's developer - has issued a statement in which it says it has moved the release date of the "Role Playing Game" RPG based on Marvel's darkest heroes to the second half of 2022, a decision that was not taken lightly.
Creative Director Jake Solomon explains that this decision is due to the fact that they need more time to improve their development. He also says that the next few months will be used to add more story, and essential improvements to bring their vision closer to reality.
"We made a very difficult decision to change our release schedule to the second half of 2022. We know that many fans were excited to play next spring," it reads.
Firaxis added that it believes in its "creative vision for Marvel's Midnight Suns," and that the extra time will allow it to "deliver an unforgettable adventure set in the supernatural side of Marvel."
Marvel's Midnight Suns was announced during Opening Night Live at Gamescom in August and was originally scheduled for release in March 2022.
'Marvel's Midnight Suns' will be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
