Zambezi Valley Agency finances projects in the center of the country

The Zambezi Valley Development Agency announced this week an investment of 130M USD for the development of two projects in the center of the country. This announcement results from the first Regional Meeting for Community Development, which took place in Chimoio, Manica province.

The projects, under the management of the Zambezi Valley and Northern Development Agencies, are aimed at the four Provincial Executive Councils in the central region. Focusing on business connections and connectivity that benefit small and medium enterprises.

The first project is valued at 100M USD and has been managed since July this year by Roberto Albino, director-general of the Zambezi Valley Development Agency.

The governors of the provinces of Manica, Sofala, Tete and Zambézia and partners addressed issues about improving the life of the communities, with which they intend to find solutions.

The Zambezi giants have concluded that the central region has the agro-ecological conditions to produce and register itself in Mozambique's economic balance, helping to reduce imports.
