Coca-cola wants to make changes in its drinks

Coca-Cola announced on Tuesday that it is improving the recipe of the "zero" version in order to try to make it taste more like the regular version, and it is also considering changing the colors of the packageCNN' reports.

The move was made known at a time when the company has been focusing its efforts on its trademark products - Coca-cola, Coca Zero Sugar and Coca Diet - and has chosen to discontinue some products with less demand.

With this change, the company hopes that the product will win over a greater number of consumers.

"Despite its enormous success, Coca-Cola Zero Sugars still represents a relatively small percentage," of the brand, justified CEO James Quincey.

"The improved recipe brings its taste even closer to that of the iconic Coca-Cola," he noted, adding that the decision "was influenced by consumer perception and our focus on constant improvement."

The new version, which will replace the current one, will be released in the United States this month and will arrive in Canada in September.

Coca-Cola Zero was launched in 2005.
